Kelly Carter in The Illegal (2023)

The Narrator of Private Ivy (1939)

She may be from a small mountain town in Colorado, but she brings a big personality and versatility to every opportunity. She has lived and worked in Los Angeles since 2015, she is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and she has appeared in numerous film, TV, and stage projects. She has now brought her incredible talent to “The Legacy Universe,” first as the voice of the narrator and grown-up Private Ivy, and also as the voice of the main villain in The Illegal. That villain is Kelly Carter, AKA “The Specialist”, Private Ivy’s tragically evil daughter. That evil daughter and grown mother will be major players in “The Legacy Universe,” and it’s this incredible actress bringing them to life.

Young Ivy Virtue in Private Ivy

Meet the official voice of the teenage Private Ivy. Growing up on movie sets and backstage at concerts, Esther quickly developed acting and singing chops, inspiring her passion and dedication to the arts. She started acting at just 4 years old in commercials and on stage. She has appeared in several feature films and award-winning shorts. She has performed with iconic artists such as Christina Aguilera, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Salt N Pepa, Heart, Warren Haynes, Richie Sambora, Sam Moore, Lyle Lovett, BeBe Winans, among many others. A highlight for Esther was the privilege of performing for the 5 living U.S. Presidents at the “One America” Concert Event. And now she’s here as the voice of the teenage Private Ivy, the most iconic hero of “The Legacy Universe.”

Erin Escalante in The Shadow War and Relapse

The Narrator of The Illegal: The First Mexican Superhero

Andrea was born in the small town of Brownsville, TX.  After high school, she studied at the Austin Theatre School in downtown Austin. After she completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Texas, she packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles. She continued her acting studies at the Ivanna Chubbuck studio, and has been in several indie projects as well as commercials for the Spanish/English markets. 

In 2018, she produced/hosted “Origenes”, two minute segments where she interviewed all types of Mexican businesses throughout LA for the Mexican TV channel, Nuestra Visión. Andrea currently works as a Production Coordinator for the hit TV show (Restaurant Impossible) on the Food Network. 

She is also one of the primary voices in “The Legacy Universe,” serving as the narrator for The Illegal audiobook, and as teenage assassin Erin Escalante, one of the series’ star characters, one that made her debut in The Shadow War.

Devon Davis in The Illegal and Private Ivy

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Chase won Houston’s Funniest Person Contest after his first year of performing stand-up. This officially launched his career as a professional comedian. He has since opened for some of the best comics in the world, in 16 different countries, including performing for the U.S. Military in Iraq. He has recently been seeing performing at Just for Laughs, The New York Comedy Festival, Aspen Laugh Fest, Moontower Comedy Festival, Gilda’s Laugh Fest, and Come and Take It Comedy Takeover. Chase has now lent his voice talents to portraying Devon Davis, the Illegal’s protege and one of the main recruiters for a team of superheroes known as “The Illegals”.

Carlos Gomez and The Illegal in Private Ivy

From wreaking havoc as a gang leader in Lucifer, to over 100 credits in film and television, William Guirola is no stranger to the fierce pressure and fierce competitiveness it takes to survive in Hollywood. With over 100 acting credits in TV, film, music videos, voiceovers, and commercials, William has the work ethic, the drive, and the charm to be here to stay. He can currently be seen on Netflix’s The Trial of Gabriel Hernandez and indie favorite Princess of the Row. He has also appeared in the miniseries Angelyne, based on the Hollywood legend. In “The Legacy Universe,” he has lent his talents as the voice of Matthew Mutantes, AKA The Illegal. That obsessive-compulsive Mexican superhero will gather the team designed to take down Safire.

Samantha Virtue in Private Ivy

Born in Miami, Dahlia graduated from New World School of the Arts and attended England’s Oxford School of Drama. Through her distinguished associations with Richard Attenborough and Arthur Miller, as an actress Dahlia has caressed stages with memorable performances from London’s National Theatre production of Twelfth Night to the John Anson Ford Theatre’s production of Much Ado About Nothing in Los Angeles.

Best known for her starring role alongside Ann-Margaret and Sonia Braga as a series regular on the CBS drama series Four Corners and as a recurring guest star in Felicity, Dahlia went on to work with Burt Reynolds in Hard Time, co-starred on America’s Most Wanted, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior with Forest Whitaker, recurring role on HBO hit series True Blood and on the ABC Family series Jane By Design. Dahlia recently starred in Selfie Dad and The Muppets for Disney. Dahlia goes back to the stage anytime she can – most recently she performed at the Santa Monica Playhouse in Plays in the Park along with Esai Morales, Mark Rydell, Ed Asner, and George Segal.

Dahlia’s first venture into producing was the passion project Changing Hearts in which she secured financing, co-produced and also had a supporting role. She co-produced the feature Swing and the thriller Beneath the Darkness starring Dennis Quaid. She produced The Bronx Bull starring Joe Mantegna, Paul Sorvino, William Forsythe, 9/11 starring Charlie Sheen and Whoopie Goldberg, and most recently Paradise Cove starring Mena Suvari, Kristin Bauer van Stratan and Todd Grinnell.

Dahlia was a financing consultant on the award winning documentary Blackfish and produced the documentaries Newman, Hero With A Thousand Faces, and Stronger for Life. She is currently producing the feature film Sweetwater while setting up Big Finish and Gorgeous George.

Dahlia is COO, executive VP of development and head of production at Sunset Pictures. She is a member of the PGA and SAG-AFTRA and a founding member along with Jimmy Smits, Sonia Braga and Esai Morales of the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts. Here in “The Legacy Universe,” she has lent her incredible talent as several supporting voices in Private Ivy, but her main role was as Samantha Virtue, Ivy’s wise and strong mother.

Isis Barker and Kesha Curtis in The Illegal

The Narrator of The Shadow War

Isheba Renee was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she broke a lot of hearts. She then graduated from Howard University, where she broke more hearts, while also majoring in law. She then moved to Hollywood to pursue acting and break more hearts. She has appeared as Mikela Lasker in The Office, along with numerous commercials and film projects, all while breaking hearts. Her voice talents have now brought her East Coast swag to “The Legacy Universe.” She has already voiced multiple characters in The Illegal, and in the summer of 2021, she narrated book three of the series, the science-fiction and political thriller The Shadow War. And yes…she will break more hearts.

Agent Anna Vasquez in The Illegal

Crissie VanderWiele and Anna Vasquez in Private Ivy

Originally from Virginia, Sarah moved to Los Angeles in 2015, where she joined the Screen Actors Guild right out of the gate. Creativity fuels every aspect of her life: from her acting, to her writing, and her stand-up comedy. She made her debut leading role as Alaska in the independent film Welcome to Sugartown. More recently, she has worked alongside Carrie Aizley in the reboot of Party of Five, as a Zombie in Speechless, and one of the core students in Mr. Iglesias, Gabriel Iglesias’s Netflix show. Her incredible acting range now finds her voicing 13-year old socialite Crissie VanderWiele in Private Ivy and the extremely pivotal character of Agent Anna Vasquez in the first seven volumes of “The Legacy Universe.”

Belinda Drescher in Private Ivy

Jes Fama is an American broadcast host and television personality. She graduated from Bridgewater State University, earning her degree in Communications, concentrating in journalism and television and film studies. She got her start in Massachusetts as the lead anchor and special events reporter for BTV. Following her dreams, Jes moved to Los Angeles and joined SAG/AFTRA, where she quickly created and hosted the radio program “Nothing New” for KCLAFM. She later created “In Your Ear” and “15 Minutes of Fama” for iTunes.

Jes emcees for numerous live events from album releases to special events at places like The World Famous Whisky a GoGo or The Viper Room. She also conducts interviews on the red carpet for events that include The Academy Awards and The Razzies. Jes is the broadcast host on RYouLive for Ultimate Jam Night and she’s a producer and host for the annual Metal Hall of Fame gala. She has interviewed celebrities like Alex Trebek, Buzz Aldrin, Lzzy Hale, Brooke Johnson, Jason Mraz and so many more. Most recently, Jes is producing and hosting Almost Fama, an entertainment show that focuses on news reports, special events and interviews. This incredible and versatile talent has now made its way to “The Legacy Universe” as the voice of one of its craftiest and most powerful villains: a vampire named Belinda Drescher.

Jasmine Hester

Toby Mathis in The Shadow War

Jasmine was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Growing up, she was always interested in acting, but it wasn’t until her final year in college that she began to pursue it professionally. She now has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, and a number of projects under her belt including abc’s hit television show Black-ish, Fox’s groundbreaking show 9-1-1 and CBS’s innovative show The Neighborhood. Currently, Jasmine is producing and starring in the third season of the award winning and Emmy considered show Chronicles of Jessica Wu, on Amazon Prime. She continues tackling her own projects, and crafting her acting, directing, and producing skills.

Scarlet Vassiloff and Sarah Slater in Private Ivy

Heather Hart and Jean-Katherine Padilla in The Shadow War

A Las Vegas native, she majored in both theatre and music at the College of Southern Navada. in may of 2016, she completed the two-year professional workshop at the prestigious Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. Her professional roles include LOOKING OUT (2016), DEAD FRIENDS (2019), THE MATRIARCHY (2019), FAME BANGER (2019), and BRYERS CUCUMBER TOSTINOS (2019).

Asia founded her own production company, The Ugly Truth Productions, which released their first production FAME BANGER (2019), and is currently in production on the web series #BGC-BRUNETTE GIRLS CLUB.

She was also appointed Associate Artistic Director/Producer of Second Skin Theatre Company in January 2019. She also has an extensive background in Theatre. Asia took on the role as Starr in the World premiere of Thanksgiving which won several awards at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival including the Beyond Bechtel-Wallace Award and the Unleashed Award. Asia took on the lead role as American Sports Executive Effa Manley in the 2018 Premiere of Blackballed: The Rise and Fall of Negro League Baseball by Matthew Robinson. Which won several awards and Best Ensemble nominations. Asia went on to play, Abbot Kinney, in Matthew Robinson's hilarious post-apocalyptic play, Olivia Wilde Does Not Survive the Apocalypse. Which won the Freak award for Best Comedy in the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival . Asia is thankful to her Mother for passing down her strength, passion, and ability to endure. That endurance has brought her to “The Legacy Universe,” where her majestic range and extensive training are allowing her to play a multitude of characters.

Bernie Virtue in Private Ivy

Michael Vitiello (a.k.a Mike Vito) is an Italian American film, television and stage performer. He has been featured on such shows as TBS’s “ANGIE TRIBECA”, multiple appearances on SPIKE TV and has graced the stages of the Las Vegas strip performing in comedy clubs, music venues, feature films and web series. East Coast born and raised he is originally from New York and has a background as a classically trained theater actor where he earned a B.F.A with a concentration in Acting. He has taken classes at the acclaimed Groundlings School of Improv and when he is not auditioning for film and television he enjoys playing guitar, producing live shows and performing stand up comedy. His marvelous East Swag has made its way to “The Legacy Universe” as the voice of Private Ivy’s detective father, the man who helped teach a great hero the tools of the trade.

Captain Jacoby, Louie Canola, Sergeant Robertson, and Gavin Vassiloff in Private Ivy

Joseph is a Producer/Director/Writer/Actor with 20+ years of professional experience in the entertainment industry.  During that time, he has also performed as a Director of Photography, Camera Operator and Editor on numerous films, commercials, music videos, documentaries and corporate productions. His formal education was obtained at the University of Southern California, where he earned a B.A. at the School of Cinema/Television and graduated with honors (Cum Laude).  Since then, he has produced content for CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, A&E, MyNetwork TV, Court TV, TruTV, History Channel, National Geographic, Discovery, HGTV, MTV, Oxygen, Spike, Style, Cooking Channel, Glamour and Wired Magazine. In addition to his televised work, he has collaborated on a wide array of movies and video productions that have received numerous accolades at film festivals around the world.

For four years, he managed the in-house production studio for the Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, producing branded and non-branded multimedia campaigns for the global organization. Under his leadership, Novartis won 17 Telly Awards for outstanding achievements in Employee Communications, 3D Graphics/Animation, Directing and Editing.  He currently manages the Visual Communication's production studio for the Realogy Corporation, a Fortune 500 real-estate company that provides support services for Better Homes & Garden, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, ERA, and Sotheby's International Realty.

And now as a part of “The Legacy Universe,” he has voiced four different characters in Private Ivy, and in late 2021, he will narrated book four, The Ventriloquist.

The Ventriloquist in Private Ivy

Born and raised in New Jersey, his parents’ first date was a drive-in movie in 1974. The movie…The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The love for art was just in the genes. Drawing became a passion for Nick from the moment he could hold a crayon. From fantasy art, to caricatures, to comic books, the creativity of bringing visions to life has been a nonstop train in his life. That has also transitioned into the profession of tattoo art, for which he is licensed. He is also a member of SAG-AFTRA, and has appeared in TV and film since 2005. He currently resides in New York City, where he continues to work as a freelance designer/muralist, tattoo artist, and illustrator.

That East Coast flow has been brought to the voice of The Ventriloquist, one of the most powerful and crucial heroes in “The Legacy Universe.”

Nate Ballard is a performer akin to that of a young Guy Pearce or teenage Tom Hanks. He has been creating & performing since he started and plans on doing so until he stops. He likes acting and writing and hanging out with friends. Nate is originally from Kansas but was raised by the wisdom of his elders. He hopes to one day be paid for hanging out with friends.

Nichalas, born in Jackson, Michigan. It didn’t take long for him to become familiar with hard work, having acquired his first job at 14 years old. He would keep jobs throughout his teen years: from working at a car wash to nondestructive testing for Boeing. That work ethic carried over to his move to Los Angeles in 2008, where he immediately booked a Nike commercial that landed him in the Screen Actors Guild.  He has since followed with numerous appearances in film, TV, and commercials, and now the voice of one of the most heroic cops in Legacy City.

David Babbitt is a Los Angeles-based actor born and raised in Seattle, Washington.  He graduated from Yale University, and has worked at various levels of the Hollywood entertainment industry: from talent management, to writing, directing, producing, and acting.  He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and his recent credits include the Darkness, Vice, and Ford v Ferrari. He also wrote the feature film Paradox Alice.

Born and raised in North Dakota, In 2018 Dallas moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Since then, Dallas has appeared in TV, Films, Music Videos, and commercials. He is currently working on his own Youtube web series Boy Talk with actor Luke Ahee. Dallas is a fast rising super star in the rat race that is Hollywood. He is also an advanced scuba diver. 

Dallas Schaefer

This Southern California native, attended Oregon State University, earning a B.S. in Speech Communications/Theatre Arts with an Education Minor and K-12 Teaching Certification. Quickly realized that Teaching was NOT his calling and, after stints in Retail, Manufacturing and Modeling, found his place and passion as a Nightclub ‘Show' DJ. In a natural progression, he moved into writing and voicing Radio Commercials, joining AFTRA in 1987, then hiring and training DJ/Performers in 10 States through 1998. At that point he relocated to Southern California and into the film industry, joining SAG in January of 2000. He trained with the Groundlings in LA, did live Theatre (mostly Shakespearean) throughout SoCal and appeared in many film and TV projects as both Background and Principal actor. Now retired, he enjoys involvement in occasional projects within the Entertainment Industry, and pursuing his Hobbies with his wife of 47 years, Karen.
